Roughan Design is an architectural design service based in rural New Plymouth within the Taranaki region of New Zealand.

Our work comprises of mainly new houses & residential alterations to light commercial. We create sketch designs through to working drawings & specifications ready for the consent application.

Established in 1991 Roughan Design has gained a strong reputation for solid, practical design solutions as well as an excellent working relationship with clients, builders and Local Authorities.

Roughan Design operates from a home office located 8 minutes drive from the New Plymouth CPD. The office is fully equipped with up to date computer technology and software and uses the Archicad drawing programme.

The office is in a great location for projects throughout the North Island.
